El servei de socorrisme i vigilància a la platja de Vilassar de Mar té com a novetat que s’amplia i s’estrena abans. Si fins ara s’iniciava a mitjans de juny, enguany els caps de setmana de principis juny també tindran vigilància. Per tant, els dissabtes i diumenges 4 i 5, 11 i 12 i 18 i 19 de juny, el servei funcionarà de 10.30 a 18.30 h. A partir del dilluns 20 de juny el servei es durà a terme tots els dies fins a l’11 de setembre, de dilluns a divendres de 10.30 a 18.30 h i els caps de setmana i festius de 10 a 19 h.

L’empresa Pro Activa SL es fa càrrec un any més del servei de socorrisme que té com a objectius proporcionar seguretat i assistència als banyistes, oferir assistència al bany a persones amb limitacions físiques, i fer recomanacions als usuaris de la platja perquè no prenguin mal. També es faran tallers per explicar, sobretot als infants, que cal protegir-se del sol per evitar cremades, així com activitats mediambientals per conscienciar la ciutadania que cal mantenir neta la sorra. L’estat de les platges amb informació sobre la bandera que oneja, la temperatura de l’aigua o la temperatura ambient, es podrà conèixer a través del web municipal.
